After being assembled at the depot to make final adjustments and a final check,the logs are numbered in the assembly order and then transported by lorry to the construction site. Once the insulation is put in the foundations the first log is adjusted and the construction of the chalet can commence. The surface of the walls are then polished and cleaned to remove all dust and particles. The logs are impregnated with anti parasitic products which protect the wood against insects. Once dried, we apply the first layer of natural oil based varnish finishing with a coloured coat of varnish in the interior and two coats on the exterior (water based ecological varnish).
